Hello! My name is Veronica, and I’ve always considered myself a big nerd. From making barbie movies as a kid, to eagerly joining theater and orchestra in high school, to getting a master’s in museum studies, I feel I was always destined to start a podcast discussing YA novels at the age of 32. But hey, I love a good mystery, and even better if there’s romance. A very short list of some of my favorite books include Jane Eyre, the ACOTAR series, Frankenstein, and obviously the Harry Potter series. When I’m not at work or working on our show, I might be making jewelry, doing something outdoors, or chilling at home with my dog (Poppy), cat (Calcifer) and husband (Frank).

Hi, I’m Carmen!  I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my husband, Michael, and our 3 dogs and cat (Dora, Hank, Maisie, and Kit if you want to know names). I have spent the last thousand years or so in school training to become a doctor, and it is exciting to finally be able to have hobbies again.  I have always been a huge book lover and this podcast has been such a fun way to discuss my love of these books with 2 of my best friends.  Some of my favorite books include the ACOTAR series, Matilda, Wuthering Heights, and Harry Potter. When I’m not doing this, I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, rewatching the Office, and buying houseplants that I will later kill.

Hey! I’m Sara, I’ve always been a big reader - my first real job at 16 was with the public library where I worked all through high school and undergrad! I spend most of my days reading in cozy dive bars, reading in the middle of the forest, or if I’m feeling real lazy just reading in bed with my two cats (Smooch & Sherman). Currently I live in Portland, Oregon, which I love most of the year, but try to escape in the winter. My favorite books include Harry Potter, Mistborn, Live Ship Traders, Throne of Glass, and anything by Emily Henry. Having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a library card!
